Description
(Quoting from deviantart)echnical:
- I am aware that the style and the technique is much simpler than what I have displayed in my recent works, but I had to keep the style consistant throughout the series. So yes, I know I haven't painted every wrinkle or skin pore etc
- art nouveau stylization (A.Mucha); couple of refs used but nothing copied straight nor nothing major (whip for example)
- about 30 hours spent in Painter

Don`t unterstand me wrong, but i think you could do so much more and different with your skills. Try something new and go out of this.
Just a tip from me.

Amolas: Thanks for your comment (I will pay attention to it) but please keep in mind that it's a piece of a series and I was really limited to the stylization I have chosen 2 years ago.

Together with Vanity she stands stronger and slightly above all the other sins, much like the two bordering pillars that support the whole series.
I'm glad that the GFX's big thumbnail reveals more of her captivating face.
I give you +70 for the herculean achievement of the seven ladies.
Hmmm. Are you planning to do the seven virtues soon?
12/31/06 @305
Ok, what I just wrote was exageratted. The point is, that personally I would like to see a painting to be impossible to be achieved through photographic technique, to stand out as a real hand-made piece of work, not just the precise imitation of the surrounding(nature), because, in my opinion photography has already conquered this aspect. Anyway, you have shown your skills.
I would really like to see some hard, broad-brush strong strokes, too. But that's maybe only my taste.
Keep up the good work!

i agree with navate on the corset, but my issue isnt so much of an unfinished look as that the black part of the corset appears to be of a silk type of fabric or even a bit of patent leather?
i LOVE the hair effect, brings a very nice appeal to the saying "hell hath no fury like that of a womans scorn". the face and eyes are also beautiful ( i absolutely love the eyelashes you have done in the series) and i love the wasteland effect of the background, for that is often all you are left with when under wraths grasp.
just gorgeous......
