...and as the final syllable was uttered from her lips, her soul froze. the tears forming, suspended like crystaline figures that one could string if one had a needle to pierce such sadness. would it be such a sad thing to remain in stasis, knowing that beauty would be retained in this sordid manner? i love this work. this is my first comment on anything. i love the way the lighting was done. but the thing i appreciate most would be the dress. the hem of the dress to be exact. the cobwebs was the only indication of the time lapse her, especially the ones nestled on her hair. Ü

I actually have one of those wooden bird cages now if I had to make up a story for this I could but im not gunna fill up your comments with my silly thoughts its a wonderful painting I wish I could make out what you wrote on the note tho question do you go out and buy fabric and study it? like lace?

Thank you everyone for the feedback, thank you huitzipochtli for your interpretation, I loved it and you're so close to what I thought of Mythmaker: Ah it's the first time I do a weirder perspective like that so I suppose mistakes were unavoidable =P Pam: Oh not really I do, however, observe interesting textiles when I have the chance (like on paintings, in shops etc). I had no direct reference for this one, but my curtains came in handy when it comes to the half transparent textile of the dress =P

It is a great painting, but I think that you were a bit lazy with some parts. With the window for instance - the window itself and whats outside needs some noverwork. Where are her feed? And the dress looks a bit pixelated. But apart from that its excellent ! 6/7
