the details are AMAZING and everything is perfect besides the head of the child. I cant tell why but for some reason it doesnt seem to blend in with the rest of the image and seems copy/pasted onto it.

I love the detailing of this, but I can't get past the child's face/head. I feel like the colors you chose for it aren't 100% right, the eyebrows are very harsh and make him look angry, and the eyes look somehow strange. I would've loved to see the boy looking at the cat rather than straight ahead for some reason too. Maybe because I want more attention on the cat. Overall wonderful image though, you kill me with these details. +8/9

Beautiful work Marta! - My favourite of yours. Must have taken an age! The first thing that struck me was the floaty-head though! Try adding more highlights to the blue clothing - seems to work (i tried a quick overlay). Top marks

well i pretty much like everything about it except the whole head bit. it just seems to big and i cant seem to logically make out a neck. besides that the environment is splendid.

Wow. Wonderful job again on the details. I see a lot of people aren't happy with the face. I think the reason is is because he is a child. His posture is that of a young man. He's looking straight ahead and his eyebrows do make him look angry. Maybe if you could tilt the head or lighten up his features he would look and seem more childlike. But other than that the details in the blankets and pillows are mind blowing.

Awesome job Marta...but I agree with 'remy', with the title you've chosen the boy should be looking at the cat and smiling, with the way you have it now I get the sense that they're in danger?!?! So you could always change the title to fit the piece?!?! Then it would be perfect! A+

I have seen a documentary about chinese dynasty and I think Ill remember, that the last chinese Emperor was only a child as his regency ends! It must be very hard for a child like this to understand everything that happens around him! I think, that you have pictured this feelings very well! I like it very much!
