Hello,
This is my newest piece. I have started it as a sketch to practice lighting, but then liked it enough to finish it.

It was done in Photoshop with a bit of Painter for blending help.

Sure the environment makes a great advantage to the appearance of the predator! The texture of brisk and wood are also extreme to paint, but you've done it well! In every next look at this work i find something special, something glamorous. Excellent work honey! <3

Really amazing piece. I personaly love the attitude on her face. And the backlight from the background really adds a lot to the overall image. Plus the stained glass is remarkable, and let us not forget the lovely wings. Seriously, great piece. I'm guessing you used the smeary round brush ? Anyway great picture you have all my respect. Seriously, just wow.

Okay, I think I just said all that I could say in the review, here's another little nitpick, posting it here because it's more of a personal opinion... it doesn't look like she could do much damage to her victims with those finger.

Might be god if they had at least an extra bone joint, or covered with hard scales and tipped with long hard claws. Just some extra thoughts. For all I know she could be a blood-sucking vampire, hehe.

Everything has been said. Stunning expression and backlight, I love the texture of the feathers but I don't like too much her feet :/
The color scheme is really attractive and really match with all the textures.

there are a couple of anatomical issues, but I'll ignore those since I do understand that this was just a sketch for practising lighting. things i really love about this artwork is her face. she has quite an unusual scaryness which is pulled off well! and I love the wings!

Pretty cool and different from some of your other paintings

Cons:

I do believe her left arm is longer than the right arm and the long melting fingers and toes...im not really sure about maybe having them look more like hands and feet would have been a better choice.

I really love the lighting, great facial expression too, very nicely painted.

Cons:

As Pam said about her her arms, I find her right arm uncomfortable to look at, just looks mis-shapen, needs a bit more blending work.

I like her hands but I think her feet need just a little more work

Pros:

Good character design, facial features/expression, That rosace thing in the bg is very nice! A strong presence and mood can be felt.

Cons:

Sloppyish paint, especially the fingers, toes and hair. Straight arm is a bit too skinny and long. The lace doesn't follow the form of her body enough, especially on her breasts, making them look flat (whereas in your progress shot she does seem to have nice round boobies). Lighting is a bit inconsistent in regards to her face vs her limbs.

Overall opinion/feedback:

Visually it's very nice work, which is the most important thing

Just need some tightening up in certain areas.

Pros:

The subject is intriguing as well as her surroundings. The gesture is strong and thoroughly thought out. You can tell, you thought a lot about this concept.

Cons:

The way her skin and eyebrows are painted is not developed and not like actual skin or eyebrows. Because of these things, especially the overall smoothness and blurriness around the skin areas, this piece looks almost unfinished to me.

Overall opinion/feedback:

I think this needs some more time but overall it's a good concept. You've made a very interesting image out of something that does not have much depth. I do not think it needs more depth at all. Though I think would be good for you, since being a regular viewer of your work, would be to do more pieces that involve depth OR have the figure interact more with the surroundings. Good stuff, I see improvement!
